Nice LT SOSPES
@@jamesnelson1443 I'm the designer
Your being shadow banned I had to look up your channel and I wasn’t subscribed anymore
@@AC-fr6xs yeah that's why I quit yt sick of the bs
It was meant for clearing 1-2 saplings & overgrowth. Not heavy chopping! Trail clearing!! In an emergency it can do fire
Hey, great. Thank you for the video. Do you still use this knife? Would you sell it? Looking for a mini bushcrafter. Thank you.
❤
Dude, the Sospis was my main bushcraft knife for years. Great knife.
I found one cleaning out a rental house. It was rusty a corroded but I cleaned it up and sharpened it. It will shave like a razor. As far as it being a thin blade goes it's not a problem. It's a cutting tool not a pry bar.
Ekspecially Ekcetera,
Those shelters work so good with a good fire. Nice looking shelter brother!
Similar to cat tails but much better 👏🏼. I don’t think we have them in NY but you guys have them in Ohio so it’s possible.
From all moras which I have (about 10 different types), I only didn't like the classic with a hilt. As an electrician i use mora electrician's knife every day. Funny that it's also the best for a woodcarving details with it's short edge (about 2,5 cm). But for EDC i love the classic size 1. Btw I like your hook system for water boiling
I also took the forbidden pin down before watching the video, I got it back in correctly in about 1 minute though, this is how I did it, you might need smaller fingers to do this. Start the pin from right side and place the sear, get the pin pushed through to the end of the sear, now drop the spring, I used another pin to position it, the little bar from the spring needs to be over the top of the left side of the sear. Once positioned, push down on the spring with your finger and push the pin through while spinning it.
Grew up in the 70s in a rural area of Sweden, i carried a Red wood handle Mora since so long as i can remember. There is nothing this gem can not handle. I still have granpas old one in my toolbox. Was born 1910. The knife was like from the 40s, and i remember seeing him chop down a christmas tree with it and a steel pipe to baton, since he forgot his hand axe. He cut aluminium sheets with it also. Dull when i found it, but after resharpening it, man, its popping hairs. True legend
I have a UCO lantern in the UK & it's OK. However, there is also the solid brass "Bushlite" lantern which is not only better quality & brighter, it uses ordinary household candles, which cost just pennies.
A Milbank bag could be a great asset. It prolongs the life of your filter and is very lightweight.
What do you think of the silky saws?
Whats everyones favorite edc 3v knife?
Just got a F3 after years craving it, I went with the magnacut version because I live in central America and rust here it's definitely a concern
Great video brother. It’s really great seeing you back out in the woods and putting out content again.
Very interesting video. I'm wondering if using a chromed pipe would be better as to avoid the mold sticking to it. And there's also a spray to prevent candles to stick to the mold. Maybe it'd also work to prevent the mold to stick to the pipe. This would avoid cutting the pipe lengthwise. Who knows?
thx man i need to buff my eyeglasses now
We need more content. 👊🏻😎 It’s been 3 months man.
I’m still waiting. 👊🏻😂
when putting back the firesteel you allmost burned your eggs :)
Is there any issue or worry that the titanium outer cup could be dented or damaged from heating to the point that it’s no longer useable for pressing? Thanks!
its pretty tough. there are vids of people testing it.
I have the Old Timer version and it’s junk.
Bossman, it's been a while. You don't know me, but I used to watch you on the PM101 channel years and years ago as a young teen. Your videos kicked my interest in knives off to a great start, and that led me down the path that landed me in all of my interests and hobbies that I have now as someone in his 20s. I think about you and the PM101 channel often. I'm happy to see you still uploading, and I hope you are well.
@@5.3pachyderm15 awesome brother thanks for the uplift today
@WilliamMyersmantisoutdoors of course! Take it easy man
Most reviews for the Classic line are tabletop with a paper slice if anything, thanks for putting up a good one. I personally love the 2/0, but for a medium knife the No2 is tough to beat!
No2 uses the same blade as a Companion, so it's basically a Companion with a wooden handle. Companions are known for durability.
The standard companion has a 1/16 thick blade whereas the No.2 is 3/32, and with the 2020 reintroduction, the classics have a rounder belly. Similar blades, but not the same.
Osbourne ?
Great review!!! Thanks!!
I like the mora # 3, got one somewhat recently. I like the larger size. the # 2 is perfect for general use. I also have a #1 and the blade is a bit shorter but also a bit thinner, makes for a bit better of a cutting slicing blade, for finer work I suppose.
This would be a great trap to make prior to camping unless you have time to burn while camping. I like the mechanics of it so I’ll set it up using a windlass or log-fall. Thanks for showing this.
How does it stand up to subzero temperatures?
@@MrKirby2367 Really well
There's a video out there showing you how to back flush your filter to help with life use.
Basically the uses you are doing are not best suited for a machete the marine learned that and used a hospital mans knife in ww2 different in later jungle conditions… this is vines and brush and thickets…. Lt knows it but here we are again… a heavy parang would be closer to a chipper see you ex -perts later
Brother it's been awhile.
That Hero knife is just a good idea for anyone handicapped or not. Dang you should patten that deaign
Old timer need to have the bevelles set and rehoned the steel is good but not as good as the flexcut but is not bad. If you can do the work then great value for the cash
Great shelter.
Move it along
You are a joke no matter how good a knife is made of it’s not made in USA it’s no good just remove rough riders is now putting case to shame in America we have plenty of lazy workers that don’t care about quality control
Did you You are a joke
Right off the bat I can tell you’re going to be biased
I love cayenne pepper. I started building up tolerance to it little by little and I also always carry a bit with me in my purse.
